just popped by.. a trip down memory lane.. i wonder is anyone still reading? like seriously? hahaha

2011 ending!!

wow!! can’t believe it! I survived another year! today is the end of 2011!

there’s been really a lot of ups and downs for me this year, literally… but ultimately, I still want to thank God for his strength and His grace and mercy for seeing me through this whole year, without Him, I think I’d have died and given up halfway. So at the end of the day, praise the Lord for His goodness and pray for a better year ahead.

A great weekend!! (part 2)

here’s the second part.

10 Dec

Slept for about 2 plus hours only, woke up, ate a little stuff, and I’m off to Boon Lay Centre. Took a cab there though, wasn’t really sure of the location. Reached the agency, checked in, waited awhile, and went up the coach. Slept in between journeys to KL, trying to catch some rest..

230 pm – reached federal hotel entrance, I couldn’t call anyone due to starhub cocked up my pay as you roam thing… went up the room and waited there. Less than 10 mins later, doorbell rang. Doorbell? I didn’t saw that when I came in.. Went to look at the peephole. Gerald!!! the guys seems happy enough that I’m here. Rested awhile before we set of to CHCKL in ben’s cousin’s car. We were in time for the service, not late at least. Haha. They have a futsal court!!!!!! AHHHH!!!! lol

The service starts. Sat is not their peak day, so only the floor area were filled. The feeling is just like at home, no strange feeling whatsoever, the presence of God just flow through the auditorium. After service, managed to have a little chat with the Pastor. He’s really sharp!! He noticed where we were sitting! Hope I can go back there again and visit them again!

After that, one of the ushers over there drove us to the place to eat bak kut teh. It was simply awesome!! We just keep asking for refill of the soup and just keep spamming the soup.. haha.. After that we went to KLCC, sat at starbucks to steal wifi, then proceed to have roti prata, and we went to buy vodka and mixer and never left the room.. lol

All of us bathed and we start the game session. Played a few games, and we saw a lot of epic moments, including myself.. well, whatever is there shall be kept there. haha. in the end all of us slept at 4 am in the morning. and some of us still wants to eat breakfast in the morning.

11 Dec

635 am – Gerald wakes us up. ben seems like he’s knocked out already, gavin didn’t wake up, so in the end, i accompanied gerald to breakfast. Breakfast wasn’t so nice though, still ok.. after that, we went up to sleep again.

11 ?? am – i think i’m the last one to wake up.. washed up again, prepare our luggage and we left for another food hunt (-.-!)

first we went to find this 纸包鸡 that the Pastor recommended us, he said when Pastor Kong ate it, he just literally licked the paper!!! so we went to try it for ourselves to see if it’s that nice. and guess what. it is really nice!!!! ahh!!! i guess we almost would’ve licked the paper if not for the oil… we also ate beef hor fun and prawn noodles over there, then we left and we went to…….

eat again…

this time round, papa johns… pizza… ahh!!! then we went to eat some korean food!! then gerald and gavin still wanted to buy mac!! *faint*

although I still can eat, but I’m just too tired to eat… have you ever had this feeling where you’re just so tired to put any food into your mouth despite you’re not full? well, guess the few of us experienced that, but definitely not Gerald… he just keeps eating and eating and eating and eating…. lol

when we get down at around 250 pm, we realised we were actually late… the bus actually leaves our hotel at 230 pm, not 3… oops…

well, we just slept on the bus again, then after the second stop, we never slept, we just chit chat on the bus.

finally, we’ve reached Singapore!! go past the custom and we’re back on the bus to go back to boon lay. ben and gavin went off first, so left me, gerald and paul. we kind of said we had enough of eating… but we went to jurong point to have dinner… -.-!!!

well, after that, we just took the train back home… and there ends my fun weekend… now… I’m sick… i think it’s due to all the food and the lack of sleep… arrgh…

WOW!!! my last weekend was so awesome!!!! hmm, shall break up into 2 parts. haha

9 Dec

this is the day. the day where i watch my very first concert in my life, and the first time I’m already standing in a mosh pit, so near to the idols.

The day started… when I couldn’t sleep… guess I must have slept too much the night before, and woke up too late, which resulted to my mind being too active and can’t sleep.. well, at least I won’t be late. Supposed to meet my cousin at Jurong East at 615 am, but this guy overslept… and I met him at 645 instead… arrgh… well, nevertheless, we still met up and we head towards indoor stadium.

Indoor Stadium, the place where I’m gonna literally rot 12 hours of my life away just by queueing up. There were already quite a group of people queueing up over there, we thought we were crazy enough, but they were crazier. Thank God that those weren’t the official queue, which we were so relieved, if not we would’ve fainted and just go eat breakfast and take our own sweet time to chill…

0830 am – the official queue started. We were supposed to be queueing up in twos, and I was right behind my cousin, out of a sudden, this kiasu person just cut infront of me… arrgh… in the end my cousin had to move a little backwards in the queue just to queue with me, but well, when we were supposed to go into the stadium, that kiasu person and us were in the same batch, so, it’s not so frustrating after all.. haha.

Throughout the day I’m literally dying… it’s so bored till you can drill a hole while drawing a circle with your fingers on the floor. Wanted to buy some merchandise over there, but just by looking at the queue can make you faint, plus the weather… *faint*

Finally, lunch time… time to fill up my stomach… after that it’s going back to that queue… after about 2 hours later, I looked at the queue of the merchandise from the second floor, the queue seems to get shorter, and I went down to queue up. When I reached the queue, the shirt is out of stock… although there’s still the light stick and the towel, I decided not to buy it, since I already have the towel and the light stick looks pretty normal… in the end I left the concert empty handed.

1h 15min before the concert starts – the security at SISTIC told us that we’ll enter the stadium batch by batch. After the first batch went in, we waited about 5-7 mins before my batch went in. When we went in, my cousin told me to stand at the spot near the walkway from the main stage to the front stage, as most of the time the girls will be walking from the main to the front stage, and at the back part of the concert they’ll be singing along the walkways.

815pm – the concert starts. despite the delay of 15 mins, everyone was excited though. Concert started with a intro video, then the girls appeared at the front stage. I don’t think I’ll be typing out the whole concert though, that’ll be crazy.. Throughout the whole concert, I couldn’t even take a single photo or video of the girls, because I’m so near the stage, and there’s this security checking out the crowd for anybody taking videos of photos every 3-5 mins… kind of depressed… Throughout the whole concert, the girls just walked back and forth, and some even stopped in between to interact with the fans. I waved to all of them, so far 8 of them waved back, only one… when I was waving she looked somewhere else and never turn back…

At the ‘end’, the girls went in, my cousin said it was the end, and his friends and I believed him… out of a sudden, the crowd started screaming, we turn towards the stage and we saw the girls are performing again.. a little shocked we just stood there and watch. Awhile later, I kind of thank my cousin, cos the position we were standing at that point of time is even closer to the walkway, and plus… we are faraway from the security, which means… camera… I’ve got no time to take my camera out (probably I should have…), at that point of time my iphone was on my hand, I just use the phone camera instead… but thank God my camera is good enough, despite lacking the zoom function, other than that the video is quite clear, so overall I’m still quite happy. ^^

Upon leaving the stadium, my cousin and his friend decided to stalk them… I’d probably join them if I didn’t have to go to KL the next day, so in the end I left.. took a cab home, packed my bag for the final time before sleeping. The thought of the concert is still in my mind before I slept…

Finally!!

Woo!! 9th December!! The day I’m watching the first concert of my life! (yup.. it’s my first concert ever.. I sound like a sua ku.. lol)

SNSD is in town!! how can I not catch them live? right? haha..

I guess I must have slept too much… now I can’t sleep… Even though I’m tired, must tell myself I’m not tired… if not later I really become tired… power of words!!

Woo! can’t wait to meet up my cousin later on!! and queue up at 7am…. -_-  (the concert is at 8pm…. -_-!!!)

It’s getting nearer…
